The Contracts Act 1950 sets out the elements of contract, i.e. offer, acceptance, consideration, illegality, capacity, intention, and certainty. It limit the ways in which a contract may be entered and carried out. In the event that there is a breach of contract, the Act sets out the enforcement of the contract and remedies available to the aggrieved party.
